1.2 Nature of Services
All services, programmes, content, and materials provided by GROUP PT and The Rise Method — including but not limited to in-studio coaching sessions, The Rise Method nutrition programme, Summer Vibes, Summer Foundation, online content, workbooks, video content, email support, and community support — are provided for general fitness coaching, lifestyle coaching, and nutritional awareness purposes only.
This content does not constitute:
• medical advice or clinical treatment
• personalised medical nutrition therapy
• a prescribed meal plan or dietary intervention
• psychological or mental health treatment
All nutritional and lifestyle guidance is general educational information only. Individual needs vary significantly based on health status, medical history, medications, and other factors outside the scope of these programmes.
1.3 Health & Medical Conditions
Before beginning any exercise programme or making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle, you are strongly advised to consult your GP or a qualified medical professional, particularly if any of the following apply:
• you have any existing medical condition including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, osteoporosis, or any other chronic condition
• you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• you are currently taking prescribed medication
• you are experiencing symptoms of perimenopause or menopause
• you have a history of eating disorders or a complex relationship with food
• you have any joint, muscle, or skeletal injuries or conditions
• you have experienced unexplained weight changes, persistent fatigue, or other unexplained symptoms
• you have any concerns about your suitability to participate
1.4 Perimenopause & Menopause
GROUP PT acknowledges that many participants may be experiencing perimenopause or menopause. The habits and practices within our programmes are broadly consistent with lifestyle recommendations commonly associated with supporting wellbeing during this life stage. However, GROUP PT does not provide specialist menopause advice, hormonal guidance, or medical support. If you are experiencing significant symptoms, we strongly encourage you to speak to your GP.
1.5 Participation at Your Own Risk
By participating in any GROUP PT or Rise Method programme or service, you acknowledge and agree that:
• you participate entirely at your own risk
• you take full responsibility for your own health, safety, and wellbeing throughout your participation
• you have disclosed any relevant health conditions, injuries, or concerns prior to beginning
• results vary significantly between individuals and cannot be guaranteed
• the general nutritional and lifestyle guidance provided may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances
If at any point during participation you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other concerning symptom — stop immediately and seek medical attention.
1.6 Results & Expectations
GROUP PT is committed to honest, realistic communication. Individual results vary significantly and cannot be guaranteed. Fat loss, body composition changes, and improvements in health markers depend on many individual factors including starting point, consistency, lifestyle, genetics, and medical status. We will never make unrealistic promises about what our programmes can achieve.
2. Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
2.1 About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of GROUP PT’s services, programmes, and digital content. By purchasing or participating in any GROUP PT service or programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
GROUP PT is operated by Michael Saunders and Tarryn Tredwell, Woodley, Berkshire, UK. Contact: michael@grouppt.co.uk
2.2 Services Offered
GROUP PT offers the following services:
• In-studio semi-private strength and movement coaching sessions (maximum 8 participants per session)
• Mobility and team training sessions
• The Rise Method nutrition coaching programme
• Summer Vibes — six-week nutrition and lifestyle programme
• Six-week trial membership
• Online content, workbooks, and video materials
• Email and community support
2.3 Monthly Coaching Membership — £160/month
Monthly membership includes access to two scheduled strength coaching sessions per week, plus up to two mobility and team training sessions per week, as agreed at the time of sign-up.
Membership is charged on a monthly basis via direct debit, with payments due on the first day of each calendar month. By entering into a monthly membership, you authorise GROUP PT to collect the agreed monthly fee via direct debit.
Cancellation: To cancel your monthly membership, you must provide a minimum of one full calendar month’s written notice to michael@grouppt.co.uk. Notice takes effect at the end of the calendar month following the month in which notice is received.
Example: Notice received on any date in May means membership remains active through to the end of June. No further payments are taken from 1st July.
You are responsible for continuing to pay your monthly membership fee during the notice period. Failure to do so does not constitute valid cancellation and any outstanding amounts remain due.
2.4 Annual Upfront Membership
Annual membership provides 12 consecutive months of access for a single upfront fee:
• 2 sessions per week: £1,600
• 1 session per week: £1,250
Membership activates on the date of purchase and runs for 12 consecutive months.
Cooling-off period: You have 7 days from the date of purchase to cancel for a full refund, provided you have not attended any sessions. If sessions have been attended, the membership reverts to the standard monthly rate and attended sessions are deducted from the refund.
Cancellation after cooling-off: You may cancel at any point during the 12-month term. Upon cancellation, the membership reverts to the standard monthly rate (£160 or £125) for all months used. Any refund due will be processed within 30 days.
Example: Annual fee paid (£1,600) minus monthly rate (£160 × months used) = refund amount.
Notice period: One calendar month’s written notice is required to cancel. Membership access continues during the notice period, which counts toward total months used when calculating refunds.
Freezes: You may freeze your annual membership for up to 2 months per year in the event of serious illness, injury, or relocation. Freeze requests must be submitted in advance and cannot be applied retrospectively. The membership end date will be extended by the length of the freeze. No refunds are issued for freeze periods.
Non-refundable circumstances: Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance, unused sessions, or missed sessions due to travel, illness, work, or personal commitments.
2.5 Summer Vibes — Six-Week Programme (£160 one-off payment)
Summer Vibes is a six-week nutrition and lifestyle programme charged as a single one-off payment of £160 at the time of purchase.
This payment is non-refundable once access to programme materials has been provided, except where required by UK consumer law.
Summer Vibes may be taken as a standalone programme or run alongside an existing GROUP PT studio membership.
Access to programme materials, email sequences, and the weekly check-in system will be provided on confirmation of payment.
2.6 Six-Week Trial Membership
The six-week trial provides introductory access to GROUP PT coaching sessions for a one-off payment of £160. This includes two strength training sessions per week and two Team Training sessions per week for six consecutive weeks. The fee is non-refundable once sessions have commenced.
The trial does not automatically convert to a monthly membership. If you wish to continue after your trial, you will be invited to join on a monthly or annual membership basis.
Standard session booking, attendance, and cancellation terms apply during the trial period (see clauses 2.7 and 2.8).
2.7 Session Attendance & Booking
Sessions must be booked in advance through the GROUP PT booking system. Failure to attend a booked session without providing at least 24 hours’ notice may result in the session being forfeited. GROUP PT reserves the right to remove a client from a session booking if insufficient notice is given repeatedly.
GROUP PT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions in exceptional circumstances, including instructor illness, venue unavailability, or events outside our control. Where sessions are cancelled by GROUP PT, we will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements where possible.
2.8 Refund Policy
Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once a payment has been processed, except in the following circumstances:
• a session is cancelled by GROUP PT and no suitable alternative is provided
• you are unable to participate due to a medical condition, supported by a GP letter, and have provided written notice within 7 days of the medical issue arising
Fixed-term and one-off programme fees (Summer Vibes, six-week trial) are non-refundable once access to programme materials or sessions has been provided, except where required by UK consumer law.
Refund requests should be submitted in writing to michael@grouppt.co.uk. GROUP PT will respond within 14 days.
2.9 Health Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate in any GROUP PT programme or session. By booking or purchasing, you confirm that you have read the Disclaimer (Section 1 of this document) and that you have disclosed any relevant health conditions to GROUP PT prior to participating.
GROUP PT reserves the right to refuse participation to any client where there are reasonable concerns about their health or safety.
2.10 Intellectual Property
All content produced by GROUP PT and The Rise Method — including workbooks, video scripts, programme materials, guides, and digital content — is the intellectual property of GROUP PT. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share this content with third parties without express written permission from GROUP PT.
2.11 Liability

• failure to disclose a relevant health condition prior to participation
• failure to follow guidance provided by GROUP PT coaches
• participation against medical advice
• circumstances outside GROUP PT’s reasonable control
Nothing in these terms limits GROUP PT’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

2.13 Changes to These Terms
GROUP PT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes by email. Continued participation following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
